• Is the product something you are passionate about? If you are not
comfortable selling a certain product you don’t want to sign up with an MLM that
is focused on that product. Many people hear of how much money they can
make with a particular MLM and they join in the hope that they’ll also make a
bank load of cash. The problem with this approach is that you can’t sell
something you don’t believe in. Choosing a company that represents a product
that you’ve used and believe in will make the experience much better for you.

• Is the pay structure what you want? Each MLM has a different way of paying
their recruits. Some prefer to work strictly on a commission based structure
while others utilize a flat fee. Unless you are comfortable with the particular pay
structure of that MLM, you won’t feel good working with them. It’s important to
fully understand how the pay structure works so you can direct your attention
towards the sales techniques that will garner you the best financial results.

• Is the selling structure one you are comfortable with? The foundation of any
MLM is the idea that there are different levels. When you recruit others, you will
prosper when they do. Not all MLMs are created equal in this regard. Some pay
a much lower percentage on the commission made by recruits, while others
offer a more substantial cut.

• Does the MLM have a good reputation? Some MLMs are recognized
worldwide and have millions of people selling their products. They treat their
recruits will respect and work with them to ensure they are as successful as
they can be. Questions are always answered and the individuals feel as though
they are an important part of the company. This is the type of MLM that is the
best to become associated with.

When it comes time to choose a MLM you should do your research. Sit down
and map out the benefits of each company. Speak to representatives from
each company so you understand which opportunity will best fit you.

Once you do decide on a MLM, try and soak up as much information as
possible. Attend every seminar that is offered and inquire about spending time
with an associate who has proven him or herself successful. There is nothing
like one-on-one training.

Signing up with a MLM can be a huge commitment. It is important to understand
where you stand with the company. You are joining to make money and if you
choose a company well suited to you, your chances for making a substantial
amount increases ten fold.
